The High Road
1997
An antelope family and a pride of lions were carved of wax and sat atop a mat of raffia, which was blown by a fan. In the original form an amplifier sat next to the mat. I had a microphone and from an adjoining room accompanied the scene with a slow rendition of "You'll Take the High Road, I'll Take the Low Road". When shown in galleries, the song was recorded on CD, and the player sat next to the tiny scene.
